How Does Entrupy Authentication Work?
Entrupy authentication is an important part of every qualifying UNOO comprehensive handbag authentication. Using a compatible mobile device and the Entrupy authentication platform, detailed images of specific areas of the handbag are captured according to Entrupy's required process.
Entrupy's technology analyzes those images and compares product characteristics against its authentication data. Depending on the handbag, Entrupy may evaluate characteristics involving materials, construction, hardware, markings, patterns, stitching, and other brand- or model-specific details.
Entrupy then provides an authentication determination based on the information submitted and the data available to its system. If Entrupy cannot confirm an item's authenticity, the item may receive an unidentified or otherwise inconclusive result. UNOO then reviews the Entrupy result alongside our physical examination and the independent human-authentication result.

What Happens If Authentication Results Disagree?
We Review the Discrepancy. We Don't Pick a Side.
Authentication is not a majority vote. If Entrupy, the independent human authenticator, and UNOO's physical examination do not align, we do not simply select the result we prefer.
UNOO reviews the discrepancy and may request additional images, resubmission, additional examination, or further specialist review when appropriate.
If the discrepancy can be responsibly resolved, UNOO issues the appropriate final result. If the discrepancy cannot be responsibly resolved, the final result is:

How Payment Works
Payment is collected when your handbag is submitted. Every authentication begins with a preliminary physical inspection and eligibility review.
If UNOO determines before third-party authentication begins that your item cannot proceed through our complete authentication process, we refund the authentication charge less a $49 preliminary inspection fee.
$49 Preliminary Inspection Fee
The $49 is the retained portion of the full payment when the handbag cannot proceed to third-party authentication — it is not a separate service charge.
Example: Customer pays $199. UNOO determines the handbag cannot proceed. Customer receives $150 refund. UNOO retains $49.
Once Authentication Begins
Once third-party authentication has begun, the full authentication service fee applies — regardless of whether the final result is Authenticated, Not Authenticated, or Unable to Authenticate.
The authentication fee covers the professional authentication process and does not guarantee a particular authentication outcome.
